Sportswear materials from Freudenberg on show at ISPO
Specialist developer of woven, knitted and non-woven interlinings and of thermal insulation Freudenberg Performance Materials has said it will have a wide range of products for sports apparel and activewear on display at ISPO in Munich from November 28-30.
These products will include stretch interlinings for yoga apparel and thermal insulations under its comfortemp brand for winter sports clothing.
It highlighted a number of comfortemp products, including Protect HO 15x GRS, which has durable padding to provide good warmth retention and a fibre content of at least 20% recycled PET bottles.
For its part, comfortemp Soft HO 80x is a wadding product that is made from 100% recyclable polyamide fibres. Freudenberg has said this product has “unlimited recyclability for a continuous and consistent circular economy”.
Its comfortemp Nature Lyocell HO 60x product has won a nomination for one of the ISPO Textrends Awards. This thermal insulation material is 100% biodegradable. In addition to high warmth-retention, it offers good levels of bacteria inhibiting, quick drying, water repellency functionality.
