Youth insight in demand at Pentland Brands

26/07/2023

The parent group of Speedo, Berghaus, Mitre, Kickers and Canterbury, Pentland Brands, is aiming to form a new youth advisory board, on which people under the age of 30 will help the business “tackle key business challenges”.

Pentland said it had been motivated by recent research that found that, while more than 50% of the global population is under 30, the average age of company directors is nearly 60.

“We are looking for young people who are passionate about sharing their views and shaping the future of business,” the group said. “We will make sure young people’s voices are at the heart of everything we do.”

It said it wanted young people in the UK, the US, India, Vietnam and China to take part. Applications opened on July 25 and will close on August 18.
