Sports group Puma has announced a new athletic clothing and footwear collection with Lemlem, a brand launched by Ethiopian model and designer Liya Kebede.

Ms Kebede’s brand specialises in swimwear and ready-to-wear, with the products made in Africa. Of the new joint venture with Puma, she said she hoped “to inspire women across the globe”.

The Puma-Lemlem collection comprises a sports bra, running tights, an anorak and a running shoe, the PWR XX Nitro. 

Puma said the products showcase geometric prints and abstract textures “that celebrate the versatility of movement”.
