Manufacturer of thread and structural components for apparel and footwear Coats Group has received Cradle to Cradle Certified Material Health certification for its sewing thread.

Certification validates the chemicals and materials used in the products as being safe for human health and for the environment.

Chief executive of Coats’ apparel division, Adrian Elliott, said: “We are committed to leading towards a sustainable future with dedication and innovation by producing products that are safe chemically and environmentally.”
