Saint-Malo-based fashion group Beaumanoir has confirmed that it has entered into exclusive negotiations with Authentic Brands Group about the possible purchase of the European business of Boardriders.

Action sports and lifestyle group Boardriders, whose brands include Quiksilver and Billabong, only became part of the Authentic Brands Group portfolio last year.

President of the family-owned fashion group, Roland Beaumanoir, said: “The Boardriders brands are emblematic and represent a lifestyle that is casual but also driven by passion for outdoor sports. We would be delighted to be able to promote these brands in the European market.”
