Authentic sets up Asian hub
As part of its strategy to expand its international presence, Authentic Brands Group has announced the opening of its new Asia-Pacific headquarters in Shanghai. The space, which measures some 2,000 square metres, includes several showrooms and a design studio. It will be the group’s regional command centre overseeing the 50 or so brands it has acquired or manages. The group is said to generate some $32 billion in annual retail sales from its wide portfolio of brands which include Reebok, Champion, Nautica, Juicy Couture, Quiksilver, Billabong, Sperry, Hunter and Ted Baker.

In other news, Authentic has announced that Champion will be producing official licensed NFL apparel, adding to its existing partnership with the NHL. The brand will launch the first products at Fanatics Fest NYC 2025 June 20-22.
