Boardriders finds new home in Europe
French apparel group Beaumanoir has been given the go-ahead by French competition regulator to acquire the Boardriders group and rights to its portfolio of iconic brands – Quiksilver, Roxy, Billabong, DC Shoes, Element, RVCA and VonZipper – in Western Europe.

The owner of six fashion brands (Cache Cache, Bonobo, Bréal, Morgan, Caroll, La Halle) and online marketplace Sarenza.com, this acquisition gives the Saint Malo-based company an opening to develop its activities in the European outdoor and lifestyle markets. With sales of €2.3 billion in 2023, Beaumanoir employs 15,000 people and operates 2,000 stores.

Roland Beaumanoir, Chairman of the Group, said: “We are proud to be embarking on a new chapter in our growth and are convinced that we will be able to capitalise on the respective strengths of the two groups to enhance the value of these emblematic brands and promote them on the European market. I would like to extend a warm welcome to the Boardriders team.”
