AAG commits to decarbonisation programme

The EMS incorporates environmental policy commitments and has set targets to reduce the carbon footprint of its operations across China, Australia and US.
Through a third-party audit of its greenhouse gas emissions, AAG will now focus on reducing energy use, reducing air freight, reducing water usage, better managing waste and increasing sustainable materials.
Daniel Hawker, CEO of AAG, said: “We know the majority of the fashion industry’s emissions occur in the supply chain. As manufacturers, we take on this responsibility - we want to not only reduce our own operational emissions but enable our customers to understand and manage their own Scope 3 emissions.”
AAG’s factory includes a seam-sealing, bonding, printing and embellishment department that produces technically advanced performance and swimwear garments. It supplies to brands including Peloton and Philip Lim.
