High-tech recycled cotton for Team USA
21/06/2024
The polo shirts the athletes will be wearing for the closing ceremony on August 11, are made using what the brand says is a novel flat-knitting technology that minimises waste. As part of its commitment to reducing its reliance on virgin raw materials, the polo shirts of the villagewear collection are crafted from 100% recycled cotton enhanced by a technology developed by US-based NFW (in which the Ralph Lauren Corporation has invested). The Clarus finish reinforces shorter length fibres and makes it possible to increase recycled content from post-consumer textile waste without sacrificing performance.
