Texollini acquired by Hansae

South Korean garment manufacturer Hansae has acquired US textile producer Texollini. The operation has been described as a move to offer vertical production services in Central America and develop the group’s activities in the activewear, underwear and swimwear segments.

Based in Long Beach, California, Texollini’s monthly production capacity is said to be 1 million pounds of fabric, made on 85 knitting machines, and its dye house processes some 1.2 million yards of fabric each month. Key clients of the supplier include New Balance, Champion, Patagonia, and Alo Yoga.

Kim Ik-Whan, CEO of Hansae, said that Texollini is a company with outstanding technology and production capability. He also expressed his commitment to ensuring that the company continues to invest and innovate to maintain its edge in the global fashion industry.
