Fibre developer The Lycra Company has announced its legwear trend forecast for 2025 and 2026.

It worked with Amsterdam-based trends forecast specialist Stijlinstituut to put together a new legwear collection that, Lycra says, will “align with the dynamic lifestyles of today’s consumers”.

For the collection, it has prioritized functional benefits including comfort, resilience, and durability. It has also drawn inspiration from “four distinct personas”, each representing different stages of life and attitudes towards living, working, and leisure.

Of the four, the persona most attuned to sports and outdoor activity is called Ezra. Legwear products in this category are of premium quality, Lycra said, and offer durability, style and functionality.
