Lycra showcases fresh brand positioning at Intertextile

The Lycra Company is exhibiting at Intertextile Shanghai (September 2 to 4) in an open-concept pavilion with Chinese yarn, textile and garment-making partners, showcasing its new brand positioning – All In Lycra.

Textile maker Lianxingfa will show developments with Lycra Adaptivfit, Trend Textile will present sustainable knits made with Lycra FiT400 and Narik will highlight Lycra-containing seamless garments.
Visitors to the booth can also learn about Bio-derived Lycra EcoMade fibre, partially made using dent corn as a feedstock; FitSense, which adds targeted shaping to denim without extra panels or seams; and Thermolite EcoMade fibre, made using 100% recycled materials, adding warmth to performance apparel.

Guest speakers from Advance Denim and spinner Texhong will join Lycra in a seminar on September 3, presenting the new Lycra VintageFX technology, which they say delivers “vintage looks in low-stretch fabrics, combining lasting comfort and fit with heritage style”. Chinese mill Seazon Denim will also present its offerings with Coolmax fibre, which has moisture-wicking, quick-drying performance benefits.

Jason Wang, vice-president for Asia at Lycra, said: “We designed our exhibit space to foster deeper collaboration and stronger partnerships.”
