Sustainability efforts help Elevate to ‘push new boundaries’
Elevate Textiles, the parent group of American & Efird (A&E), Burlington, Cone Denim and Gütermann, has published its sustainability report for 2025.
Achievements the report highlights include reductions in greenhouse gas emissions and water consumption across its production facilities in 2024. The group also registered its best safety performance in more than a decade.
In addition, Elevate launched its largest solar energy project to date and announced further installation of solar panels for 2025.
The report also celebrates the opening of a new sewing-thread facility in Bangladesh. It explained that this new facility is located on preserved green space in a dedicated Korean export processing zone.
Chief sustainability officer, Jimmy Summers, said the report provides “detailed insights into our ongoing efforts and progress to keep sustainability a core part of who we are and what we do”.
Elevate’s chief executive, Jeffrey Pritchett, added that these efforts and actions were allowing the group “to create more sustainable threads and fabrics and push new boundaries for our customers”.
