Burlington opens new dye house
Burlington, a part of Elevate Textiles, has officially opened a new dye house at its Raeford, NC, manufacturing facility. This plant is one of the few remaining to produce made in the USA fabrics supplying the military with textiles used in military dress uniforms.
This investment represents a significant update to the Raeford factory. “We are proud to continue a legacy of serving the military while strengthening American manufacturing capabilities right here in North Carolina,” commented Jeffrey P. Pritchett, Elevate Textiles CEO.
At the same time, local news organisations have reported that the company was closing a finishing plant, located in Burlington, which employs 150 people, at the end of the year.
