Renewed creative drive at MarediModa
The organisers of the MarediModa exhibition have said visitor numbers were up by 3% at the 2025 edition in Cannes (October 22-24).
MarediModa president, Claudio Taiana, said he had also noticed an increase in the quality of visitors to the show.
“Over these three days, we have seen an increase in buyers compared to 2024,” he explained. He added that the high and upper-medium segments of the market were particularly well represented, with a strong participation from what he called “major international brands and luxury groups”. The showing from smaller labels and start-ups was slightly down, he added.
Italy was the main country of origin, with 30% of visitors, followed by France, Spain, the UK and Germany.
“Our traditional end-of-show survey also revealed a greater focus on concrete choices and a renewed creative drive,” Mr Taiana insisted.
