Performance yarn and fabric developer Nuyarn Technologies has appointed Monica Ebert as its new vice-president of sales for North America.

Ms Ebert, who previously worked for the Woolmark Company, will work to build strategic product partnerships and on business development. Nuyarn said the appointment underscored its aim to expand in premium apparel, footwear and accessories.

Brands Nuyarn Technologies is working with already include Ibex, Black Diamond, KUIU, Artilect, HOKA and Allbirds. 

“Nuyarn changes the rules of what wool can do,” Monica Ebert said. “Faster drying, stronger, softer and built for movement.” She described her new role as an opportunity to help change how the world experiences wool.
