Taiwan-based textiles maker Creative Tech Textile / Hans Global has developed a fabric that blends 40% Seawool and 60% cotton, made to answer demand in the US for cost-effective and eco-conscious fabrics.
Seawool is made from discarded oyster shells and recycled plastic, and offers benefits including odour control.
At Premiere Vision Paris in September, CEO Eddie Wang introduced an insulation made with Seawool.
