The chief executive of textile recycling company Reju, Patrik Frisk, has said 2025 has been the year when textile circularity “moved from conversation to acceleration”.

He said he was proud that Reju had not only focused on building technology, but had also made progress on building “the infrastructure our industry needs”. He listed the development of a first industrial scale recycling centre in the Netherlands as one of the highlights of this year.

Another is the progress he said Reju had made in building partnerships with brands, mills and suppliers.

“It has certainly been a year defined by collaboration, momentum and alignment around a shared mission,” he said.
