Swiss textile innovator Climatex has successfully raised CHF 3.2 million (or €3.5 million). The company is developing several technologies that support circularity in apparel. StitchLock is a dissolvable sewing thread. WeaveLock is a novel textile structure combining a layer of natural and synthetic fibres with a yarn that locks the two together and can be removed at end of use. The open structure of this textile gives it thermoregulating properties. 

“Climatex was founded to fundamentally rethink textiles for a circular economy. This financing round validates both our technology and our vision,” commented Adrian Obrist, Climatex co-CEO and board member.
