In addition to rolling out special performance-oriented products for the upcoming World Cup, Nike is also tapping the cultural, social and fashion potential of the global sport. For seven of the federations the brand supports, limited edition capsule collections have been created with local brands connecting local culture and community organisations supported by Nike. The seven countries are United States, Canada, England, France, Netherlands, South Korea and Nigeria.

The English capsule is a co-creation with streetwear label Palace, the French one was designed with Jacquemus, and the Virgil Abloh Archive reworked the stars and stripes motif for the US team.

These pre-match jerseys will be worn by their respective federations at all friendly games, said Nike. They will be sold in a select array of stores such as Dover Street Market and SNKRS, starting mid-June.
