Boston Consulting director joins Fashion for Good
Fashion for Good has appointed Wendy Woods as its new board chair, succeeding Jill Beraud, who had led the board since 2022.
She is also vice-chair for social impact, climate and sustainability at Boston Consulting Group, where she is also a managing director and senior partner.
Based in Boston, she has worked extensively across Europe, Africa, and Asia. She is a member of the Executive Committee of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, and serves on the boards of the Elevate Prize Foundation and TENT Partnership for Refugees.
She said: “Much of my career has been spent on the question: how do we rethink business’s role in society, create sustainable, inclusive strategies, and build collaborations to drive positive change at scale? Fashion is one of those industries where that question matters the most. Fashion for Good has spent nearly a decade building exactly that kind of pre-competitive space, bringing together brands, innovators and investors to validate and scale innovation that can benefit the whole industry, people and our planet.”
Amsterdam-based Fashion for Good was founded with a bold mission to “make all fashion good”.
