Workwear producer Williamson-Dickie Mfg. Co. has acquired Kodiak Group Holdings Inc., a Canada-based manufacturer and distributor of work and outdoor footwear.

Under the agreement, Kodiak will operate as an affiliate of Dickies and maintain its brand names, licensing programme and stores. The company makes Kodiak and Terra boots, including safety footwear and casual footwear, licenses apparel and accessories and owns Terra Footwear. It will continue to manufacture and distribute its footwear and apparel through its existing channels.

Williamson-Dickie also recently signed a multi-year extension with Rocky Outdoor Gear enabling it to continue the use of the Dickies footwear license in the US.
