New dyeable elastane from Hyosung

08/02/2012
Fibre manufacturer Hyosung has launched Creora dyeable, a new elastane that it insists has "outstanding dyeability" in blends with nylon for wovens, hosiery, warp and circular knits

This addition to the Creora fibre range is engineered in a proprietary way to absorb dyestuff and to achieve high levels of colour fastness, the company said at the time of the launch.

"Fabrics made with Creora dyeable are heat-settable and mouldable at lower temperatures," Hyosung continued. "They have a softer hand plus chlorine resistance, making them suitable for any application. Colours are deeper, darker and more vibrant as traditional elastane grin through is eliminated."
