OIWC appoints new executive director

The Outdoor Industries Women’s Coalition (OIWC), which aims to promote the role of women in the in the outdoor, bike and snowsports industries, has appointed Deanne Buck as its new executive director.

Ms Buck has a legal background and brings extensive expertise of non-profit organisations, a love for the outdoors and a commitment to gender equality to her new role. She is well versed in fundraising, board relations, and organisational growth. “Deanne is a smart, strategic leader and her steady style and strong communications skills make her an amazing leader for the future of OIWC,” the organisation said on announcing the appointment.
