Novozymes announces new CEO

Dr Holk Nielsen is currently executive vice-president and head of enzyme business at the company, a position he has held since 2007. Prior to this, he worked at Novo Industri-Novo Nordisk across business development, research and development, quality management and sales and marketing.
Textiles is one of the application areas that Novozymes, a specialist in enzyme production, focuses on, saying that higher production costs, demand for quality textiles, and environmental legislation present challenges for the industry that it believes it can help its customers address.
