Dutch companies work together on personal protection

TenCate and DSM have a history of joint-development of materials for personal and vehicle protection. Steen Tanderup, managing director of TenCate Advanced Armour, said in the build up to Milipol 2013 exhibition (Paris, November 19-21): “Current focus is on further reducing weight, increasing comfort and developing cost-efficient solutions. We intend to set a new standard for ballistic armour protection in both personal protection applications like vests, inserts, helmets, soft armor applications, and for vehicle armour. But also for next-generation tactical gear.”
