Vaude makes new board appointment

German outdoor brand Vaude has appointed long-standing head of its cycling segment, Peter Sontheimer, to the company’s executive board. On making the announcement, Vaude said the appointment indicated a strong connection between the product development and executive sides of its business.

A former professional biathlete, Peter Sontheimer has been with Vaude for 20 years, working on the cycling clothing and equipment segment between 1992 and 2011, when he became the brand’s overall product manager.
