Sympatex ups focus on footwear segments

Membranes and laminates maker Sympatex will focus on the children’s, city and outdoor segments at GDS shoe fair in Düsseldorf in mid-March - sectors it says are growing.

Its participation in the German event outlines the “great strategic importance of the shoe sector for the company”, with CEO Michael Kamm saying he sees growth opportunities.

Sympatex will present new partner products, by Richter, Ricosta, and Vögele as well as customers who will use the 100% recyclable Sympatex membrane for the first time. Kangaroos and Crocs have chosen Sympatex for some functional lines for their new collections.
