Sympatex creates alternative tenting material

Sympatex will unveil a laminate combination for breathable single-wall tents as well as a membrane-based bivi bag at OutDoor, a Germany-based trade fair, in July.

Its alternative to the usual PU-coated and siliconised materials of single-wall tents is based on its Moisture-tech and HigH2Out technologies.

The new Bivi bag combines the Sympatex Reflexion membrane with a light textile base material. It is ultralight, heat-reflecting, breathable and waterproof while offering security and comfort.

The Munich-based functional textile specialist will also present new partner products, such as HALTI’s new two-layer jacket Tiikarla and Vaude’s Sympapro jacket, at the Friedrichshafen show.
