European Outdoor Group appoints CSR and sustainability manager
The European Outdoor Group (EOG), the Switzerland-based industry body that represents more than 60 outdoor brands, has strengthened its team with the appointment of a corporate social responsibility and sustainability manager. Pamela Ravasio has joined the organisation in this new role and brings 15 years of business experience, including nine years of involvement in sustainability issues and projects.

Originally from Switzerland, Ms Ravasio has worked in higher education, for leading businesses and as a consultant, liaising closely with textile and fashion businesses, as well as non-governmental organisations.

Mark Held, general secretary of the EOG, said on announcing the appointment: “The EOG is increasing its focus and resources to support the CSR and sustainability needs of our membership. During the recruitment process, Pamela greatly impressed us with her knowledge, passion and appetite for the complex tasks at hand, and we are sure she will prove to be a great asset to the membership and our industry.”
