Eurojersey scoops award; climber’s path takes dramatic turn

Italian fabric maker Eurojersey has been named the recipient of the Designer of the Year prize for beachwear at Paris-based lingerie show Interfilière, which will take place in July.

Its warp-knit Sensitive fabrics are lightweight and breathable and be used for body mapping and matching between different materials, using bonded and taping technology, using a heat sealing technique. The latest applications include contouring, laser cuts and flocking and chromatic embossed effects.

The Italian company also sponsored mountain climber Marco Confortola on a recent trip to Nepal, which took a dramatic turn on April 25 due to a devastating earthquake. Mr Confortola redirected his efforts to helping the local people in need and returned to Italy after giving his possessions to Sherpas.
