Autumn delivery for system to make any bike ‘smart’

Frankfurt-based cycling technology start-up COBI has established a partnership with electronics firm Jabil Circuit to develop a system that it says can turn any bike into a smart bike.

COBI said on making the announcement that its work with Jabil had begun in March and that the first deliveries of its new system will take place this autumn.

Its patented system integrates five bike accessories into one object: light, navigation, smartphone holder with charging function, bell and bike computer. This combination will make 100 different functions available to riders.
