Double-digit growth for Spanish textiles and apparel in first half

Spain’s textile and garment industry achieved export earnings of almost €6.7 billion in the first half of 2015. This figure represents growth of 10.3% compared to the same period in 2014.

The growth in apparel exports was even stronger, reaching 13.2%, compared to the same period last year. Between January and June 2015, apparel manufacturers achieved export sales of €4.8 billion.
