Lectra updates product development solution

Modaris is a pattern-making and grading software, which has been adopted by many brands in the fashion and apparel industries. A previous update saw it incorporate fully-integrated 3D prototyping technology.
Lectra says Modaris V8 offers improved product approval processes and digital file exchange, which speeds up sampling and allows development teams not working in the same location to work together more efficiently. It also allows brands to position logos and graphics in 2D and 3D simultaneously.
“With this newest version (of Modaris) our customers, across the entire product development ecosystem, will benefit from the ability to drive a state-of-the-art collaborative process, ensuring data consistency, end-product quality and finally faster time to market,” said Céline Choussy Bedouet, chief marketing and communications officer at Lectra.
