Under Armour set to sign deal with Major League Baseball

Sports brand Under Armour is to become the official uniform supplier for Major League Baseball (MLB), the premier baseball league in the US.

Reports in the US media say the brand is to replace Majestic Athletics as the manufacturer of on-field jerseys for the league from the start of the 2020 season. It would represent Under Armour’s first deal with a professional sports league.

It was also been suggested that Under Armour are aiming to replace Nike as the official provider of baselayers when the rival brand’s current deal expires at the end of the 2019 season.
