Mizuno USA adds to performance footwear team

He will work closely with Todd Lewis, vice president of running footwear and design, on the development of performance running footwear, providing support for the brand’s footwear teams in Japan and the US.
He will also contribute to the nurturing of the designers in the Mizuno team from his at the Mizuno performance running centre of excellence in Portland, US.
“Indra brings with him a strong design philosophy, which will complement our design team,” said Mr Lewis. “Indra will play a critical role in helping us unlock Mizuno’s potential, contributing to our overall evolution as a brand and the ever-evolving needs of runners.”
Mr Gunasekara joins Mizuno with more than 20 years of experience in design and footwear innovation. He was filled many roles during that time, including focused research and development of materials, colours and trends at leading running brands.
