Polartec fabric works for Banana Republic

The fabric, which has the appearance of a sweatshirt, is? created from a special? knit ?of polyester and Tencel.
Polartec explained on announcing the development that the polyester is for “lightweight, quick-drying warmth”, and the Tencel for “a more casual aesthetic, hand feel and drape”.
Banana Republic has used the new fabric to make two sweaters, the Polartec Raglan Crew and the Polartec Half-Zip; the company, part of the Gap group, has said both products have sold faster than anticipated. Polartec commented that people? are looking for “garments that can do more”.
