Hollister turns to Invista for new jeans collection

American lifestyle brand Hollister has unveiled its first line of performance jeans, which incorporate technology from polymer and fibre manufacturer Invista, as well as the company’s Lycra fibre. 

The brand’s Advanced Stretch Jeans use a fabric treated with Invista’s Coolmax All Season technology. It allows moisture to be moved away from the body more quickly, keeping the wearer cool and dry on hot days. 

“Our goal with the innovative Coolmax All Season technology is to provide products that fit the needs of our customer’s on-the-go lifestyle,” said Kristin Scott, brand president of Hollister.

“We believe pairing one of the hottest teen denim brands and with one of the coolest fabric technologies available on the market today will resonate with consumers,” added Dave Trerotola, president of Invista’s apparel and advanced textiles division.
