Kelheim to launch viscose fibre with built-in hydrophobic properties

11/04/2017
Viscose fibres specialist Kelheim Fibres will present Olea, which it is calling “the world’s first viscose fibre with inherent hydrophobic properties” at Techtextil in Frankfurt (May 9-12).

In advance of the exhibition, Kelheim said that it seeks to add new properties to its viscose products by controlling fibre dimensions and cross sections or by incorporating additional functionalities, while preserving the typical properties of a viscose fibre such as softness, skin-friendliness and wearer comfort.
