Cordura debuts new denim collection in Amsterdam

The Cordura brand, owned by polymer fibre manufacturer Invista, has unveiled its Re/Mastered denim collection at the Kingpins Denim show in Amsterdam (April 19-20).

The brand says the collection, which is a collaboration with the Monsieur-T International Design Studio in Paris, combines 20th century garments with 21st century techniques. It features “specially engineered” Cordura Fabrics from textile mills Arvind, Artistic Milliners, Cone Denim, and Kipas.

“The Re/Mastered collection is a true embodiment of ’heritage meets innovation’,” said Cindy McNaull, global Cordura brand and marketing director. “Through this collaboration, we’re able to work with our valuable authorised mills, Monsieur-T and Denim Authority to create a vintage, yet high-tech, collection in celebration of our 50th anniversary.”

The garments in the Re/Mastered collection were dyed and finished by Denim Authority in Tunisia to give the fabrics the “authentic worn heritage look”, according to Cordura.
