US sportswear brand Columbia has announced that its president and chief operating officer, Bryan Timm, will be stepping down from his roles.

He has been at the company for 20 years and has previously served as corporate controller, treasurer and chief financial officer.

Columbia’s chief executive officer, Timothy Boyle, said Mr Timm has played an “integral role” in the expansion of the brand. “He has been a key contributor to our growth and transformation,” Mr Boyle added.

Mr Timm’s responsibilities will be redistributed to other members of Columbia’s senior management team.
