Columbia continues reshuffle of senior management team

US sportswear brand Columbia has named Jim Swanson as its chief financial officer and Peter Rauch as its chief transformation officer.

It continues what the company calls a “strategic realignment” of its leadership team.

Mr Swanson takes over as CFO from Tom Cusick, who was last week promoted to executive vice president and chief operating officer. During 14 years at Columbia, Mr Swanson has served in a range of key finance positions, including senior global financial analyst, finance manager and vice president of finance. 

Mr Rauch joined Columbia in 2008 as retail accounting manager. He has since served as director of retail accounting, chief financial officer of the company’s joint venture in China and chief accounting officer. 

Both appointments will take effect on July 1.
