Rocky Brands implements “leadership succession plan”

Footwear group Rocky Brands has promoted Jason Brooks to the roles of president and CEO, effective immediately. He replaces Mike Brooks, who only took on the role permanently at the end of 2016.

The company said this move is part of its “leadership succession plan”. Mike Brooks will continue to be chairman of the company’s board.

Jason Brooks has served as vice president of core brand for Rocky Brands since February 2016. Prior to that he was president of wholesale sales for the US. He joined the company in 1997 as an independent sales representative.
