‘Bright future’ for China’s outdoor industry

The group presented its annual report at Asia Outdoor (June 30 to July 2), describing the industry as “optimally positioned for a bright future”.
Nearly 20,000 visitors headed to the three-day show in Nanjing to see 617 brands, around the same numbers as last year.
Ludwig Meier, marketing director of organiser Messe Friedrichshafen, said "There are innovative products, and it’s clear that outdoor is changing. It’s going more urban – getting closer to city living.
"We’re also seeing an interesting side to camping.”
