Much of the on-site technical support offered by the company in Asia is operated by the Karl Mayer China subsidiary. This division has played an important role in the expansion of services in Vietnam and Bangladesh.
Karl Mayer said it has recruited two new service technicians to provide technical support for its warp knitting customers in Vietnam. Their training was carried out by the Karl Mayer Academy in China. They are now based in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, allowing them to be easily deployed across the country.
The group’s Chinese subsidiary is also supporting operations in Bangladesh, with technicians from service hotspots across China recently helping with a large-scale machinery installation in the country.
In India, Karl Mayer has appointed Peter Stutz as national service manager, a move designed to strengthen the company’s relationship with its warp knitting customers in the country. He is in charge of a 15-person technical support team.
