Sweden to host 2018 European Outdoor Summit

The fifth edition of the annual event focused on the outdoor industry from the point of view of the consumer.
Those in attendance heard talks from a range of speakers, including Tommaso Brusò, chief executive of the Bennetton Group, Christoph Centmayer, sustainability manager at Bergans of Norway, and Susan Viscon, vice president of merchandising at REI.
“This year’s EOS focused on probably the single most important influencer of our industry - the customer, and the speakers really stepped up to share some extremely insightful knowledge and information for delegates to take away and create positive change, not only within their own businesses, but within the industry as a whole,” said Mark Held, managing director of the European Outdoor Group.
At the close of the summit, it was announced that EOS 2018 will take place in Malmo, Sweden. Further details will be released closer to the time.
