05/07/2017
The European Outdoor Group (EOG) has announced the first speakers for its Italy-based summit in October.

Kate Bosomworth has worked on communications strategies for companies including adidas, The North Face and Unilever and will discuss ‘How to be a Game Changer in Participation’.

She said: “It takes courage, commitment and a spirit of adventure to create game-changing initiatives; qualities the outdoor sector is not short of!”

She will share learnings from across her career, including insight into This Girl Can, one of the most successful participation campaigns of the decade.

Managing partner at advisory firm Camunico Ron Soonieus will discuss the meaning of ‘Long Term Value Creation’. “We have been living well beyond our means materially and well below our means intellectually, spiritually and ethically. This has to be reversed and the outdoors can play a key role in rebalancing that,” he said.

Christoph Centmayer, sustainability manager at Bergans of Norway, will present on ‘Strategic Decisions Based on a Verified Product Footprint’, exploring environmental profit and loss.

The Forum will take place on October 4 and 5 in Treviso, Italy.
