Retro feel to new adidas FIFA World Cup ball

The original Telstar was used in the 1970 World Cup. It was the first ball to be decorated with black panels, which was designed to make it stand out on black-and-white televisions.
The Telstar 18 features a new carcass and an embedded NFC chip which allows consumers to interact with it using a smartphone.
The brand has also taken sustainability into account when developing the ball through the use of recycled materials in the packaging.
