Under Armour unveiled the clothing range at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas in January. It was developed in collaboration with American Football star Tom Brady and is designed to help athletes maximise their recovery while sleeping.
The products work by reflecting Far Infrared waves back towards the body which is said to improve the circulation and help the wearer recover faster while sleeping. The range includes full-length shirts and pants, as well as short versions. They are available for both men and women.
Dr Alan Letton, chair of the technology committee of Redwave’s board, has said: "By harnessing the physiological benefits of Far Infrared, we created therapeutic apparel able to improve health as it's worn – making recovering from an all-out effort faster, easier, and more efficient.”
