Nike uses new foam and polymer hybrid in adaptive bra
Nike has developed a sports bra featuring a new adaptive material composed of a foam and polymer hybrid that stretches at rest and locks out when it senses impact.

The Nike Motion Adapt Bra works in much the same way as a seatbelt, suggests the company.

Nicole Rendone, design director for Nike Bras and Innovation, said: “This unique, soft material moulds to your shape and is very flexible, moving with you while you do low-impact activity. Once you move rapidly, the material becomes more supportive. Then, when you slow or reduce the velocity of your movement, the material will relax again.”
